Jim Hicks-Founder & President-New York - HQ Office - General Management: Jim began his executive search career with prominent international firm, Egon Zehnder, in the late eighties. As the former C.O.O of Nautica and Executive VP of Polo Ralph Lauren in NYC, he developed the reputation of a strong leader who placed a lot of emphasis on bringing in the best possible talent for key positions. Jim brings a multi-industry background to the search business as well as well-balanced functional experience in operations and general management. A former U.S. Coast Guard officer, he earned an engineering degree from Auburn University and an MBA from the University of Hawaii. He began his business career in 1972 with Kurt Salmon Associates, the highly regarded retail & consumer products consulting firm.
Mohan Shivdasani-Managing Director-Atlanta- Big Five Consulting Veteran: One of the first two consultants at Ansley and a seven year veteran of DeLoitte and Andersen Consulting, Mohan returns to Ansley after a three year stint with Computer Sciences Corporation Consulting (CSC). Mohan's highly diversified twenty-five year career includes eight years in line management and almost 20 years in general management and systems consulting. His exerience covers many industries: software & technology, process & discrrete manufacturing, retail, textile, consumer goods and apparel. Mohan, who earned an MBA from the University of Michigan, has extensive supply chain management experience, including hands-on responsibility in the Pacific Rim.
Tony Brooks-Managing Director-Chicago Office- Multi-Purpose Athlete: A two-time Olympian, a former consultant with Arthur D. Little & Kurt Salmon Associates, and a multi-industry generalist, Tony is the most diversified member of our team. Since receiving his AB with honors form Harvard University in 1972, Tony's career has spanned such industries as financial services, healthcare, environmental services, consumer products, energy, plastics and telecommunications. Also, just prior to earning his Harvard MBA in 1979, Tony worked in Washington as a management analyst on key projects within the Senate and the House of Representatives.
Bob Wyatt, Ph.D.-Managing Director-Dallas Office- Human Resources: As a former principal with Korn/Ferry, Bob brings well over ten years of senior level executive search experience to Ansley Consulting. With a degree in Psychology from Denison University, he went on the earn an MBA and a Ph.D. from Golden Gate University in San Francisco...doing his dissertation on the employee selection process. A twenty-year retail veteran, Bob held such positions as EVP of Human Resources for The Broadway Southern California and was the first Corporate VP of HR for The Bombay Company in Fort Worth. Bob's educational and subsequent work experience makes him ideally suited to participate in all of our assignments.
Molly Baskin-Managing Director-Chicago Office- Financial: Molly began her career in the late seventies with Ernst & Whinney, where her audit clients included financial institutions, high technology companies, and consumer products. Next, she spent six years in various financial roles with Coca-Cola followed by six years with the Bank of Montreal. A graduate of Wellesley College and The Harvard Business School, Ms. Baskin brings a diversified financial and multi-industry background to our practice. A resident of Chicago, she freely gives much of her time to a number of charitable causes and is a member of the Board of Directors of Nasdaq-traded American Capital Strategies, Inc.

Dan Danford - Associate Consultant - Pacific Region - Marketing: After over twenty years of senior management experience with apparel firms like Esprit and Oxford Industries, Dan spent four years as a senior search consultant with Neail Behringer Consultants. During his time there, he successfully handled over 50 senior level searches and managed the entire firm during his final year. While at Esprit, Dan was based in San Francisco and was the President of several divisions. At Oxford, he was the President of Oxford Shirt Group and the Polo for Boys division. A former officer in the U.S. Army, Dan has a BS in Industrial Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Georgia State University.
Jerry Owens - Associate Consultant - Memphis - Operations/Logistics: A seasoned retail veteran, Jerry Owens brings thirty years of experience in direct distribution and fulfillment to The Ansley Consulting Group. In his most recent role as Senior Vice President of Distribution with Williams-Sonoma, Jerry was responsible for store distribution and direct fulfillment for all six of their businesses: Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Bed & Bath, Pottery Barn Kids, Hold Everything, Chambers and previously Gardeners Eden. Jerry holds a BS in Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University and a law degree from John Marshall University. He is member of the Board of Advisors of Operations & Fulfillment Magazine, is a frequent speaker at the Council of Logistics Management, and is on the Board of Advisors for the Memphis Chamber of Commerce.
Chuck Weems - Associate Consultant - Atlanta - Information Technology: An eighteen year veteran of IBM, Chuck is a seasoned I/T professional who has a healthy blend of experience in marketing, engineering, strategic planning, customer support, and manufacturing. He was most recently a consultant with the prominent executive search firm, Ray & Berndtson, where he specialized in the I/T field...serving clients in software, hardware and telecommunications. Following IBM, Chuck spent five years at MAPICS, Inc., a leading software provider of e-business enterprise applications. A native of San Diego, Chuck is a graduate of The University of Wyoming, where he received a B.S. in Accounting and where he was a classmate of Dick Cheney, the Vice President of The United States.
